Pediatrix is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to join our well-established practice located in Columbus, Ohio to cover the nurseries at the Riverside Methodist and Mount Carmel sites.
The responsibilities of the three physicians covering these units include admissions, daily rounding, circumcisions and some delivery attendance.
The average daily census is 25 patients at Riverside and 18 at Mount Carmel
There is always a neonatologist in house at Riverside and a neonatologist on call from home for Mount Carmel.
There is no night shift in-house call. Call is taken from home.
Hours are flexible and vary with the census.
We are close to Nationwide Children's Hospital and Cincinnati, allowing easy fulfillment of continuing medical education credits.
