We are seeking an RN for Oncology to work under the direction of the Cancer Center Operations Manager; the Oncology RN is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established oncology protocols established by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
This position is PRN
QualificationsEducation:
- Associate Degree (ADN) in nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor?s Degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure:
- Current and unrestricted licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Ohio
Experience:
- Oncology Experience Preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification (required within six months of hire)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience in a hospital setting
- Proficient with computer systems and oral and written communication skills
Professional Affiliations:
- Member of the Oncology Nursing Society preferred
