A highly competent member of the professional health care team, who, through previous clinical experience and education, has shown excellent clinical judgement and is able to perform at a high level of autonomy. Actively participate in Interventional Suite (IS) cases involving complex disease by assisting with the movement and alignment of x-ray equipment as well as the control of radiation safety throughout procedures. Capable of assisting the physician during cardiac diagnostic and peripheral procedures. Responsible for rotating call for emergent and urgent procedures.
Qualifications
A highly competent member of the professional health care team, who, through previous clinical experience and education, has shown excellent clinical judgement and is able to perform at a high level of autonomy. Actively participate in interventional suite (IS) cases involving complex disease by assisting with the movement and alignment of x-ray equipment as well as the control of radiation throughout procedures. Monitor hemodynamic pressures and document the details of the procedure in the electronic medical record. Deliver exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by radiology agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Sciences or training program. Licensed as a Registered Radiologic Technologist by the State of Ohio and registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred. BLS and ACLS (required within 6 months of hire).
