Primary responsibilities include the management and administration of essential Microsoft Windows server application and infrastructure components and architecture throughout the Clinton Memorial Hospital environment

· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must display the ability to work well in a team environment and be able to work independent
· Maintaining high-availability systems (7x24x365) in production environment which include LAN/WAN and systems including mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
· Must possess knowledge of traditional networking and telecommunications theories such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, network architecture, network technology, network management, troubleshooting, the OSI model, routing and switching, firewalls, wireless, sub-networking, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), telephony, and unified communications (UC).
· Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
· Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve highly complex technical hardware and software problems
· Creates and administers system administration policies and procedures with final approval of IT Director
· Experience with disaster recovery, replication, and clustering solutions
· Grasps concepts, quantifies, and analyzes ideas into systems requirements
· Ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies and keeping current with industry best practices
· Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet and track deadlines continuously under minimal supervision
· Maintains several SQL Server databases to include performance monitoring and tuning.
· Additional responsibilities include securing, maintaining and monitoring the health of the server environment throughout the enterprise, which encompasses updating server documentation, conducting utilization studies and the establishment of fault notification processes.
· Develop and maintain network documentation.
· Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, desktop management tools
· Monitoring to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
· Communicating networking issues to manager and other employees
