AUDIOLOGIST AIDE
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Aide will perform tasks that are planned, prescribed, delegated, directed and supervised by a licensed Audiologist. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Providing follow up care for Tru Hearing patients. Accept, inspect and repair hearing aids as permitted under Audiology Aide license. Teach patients about proper hearing aid cleaning and care. Enter detailed chart notes into TIMs describing all patient encounters. Complete repair order forms and send all repairs to manufacturers. Check new hearing aids and repaired hearing aid into TIMs as they arrive. Call patient to inform them that the hearing aid has returned and either schedule a follow up/PUR appointment or leave it at the fro
