The prestigious VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System nestled in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist for a full-time staff physician position. This 5-star medical center is a leading healthcare system, innovative care, and teaching facility with healthcare services at 20 locations in northeast Ohio.
Ideally, the candidate will have subspecialty training in either Headache or Movement Disorders but will consider other subspecialties. This position will support Veteran care throughout the healthcare system including virtual care and at our CBOC Specialty Care locations.
The Neurology Service at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is a well-established academic Neurology department with affiliation with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Additionally, the Neurology Service leads a VA Headache Center of Excellence site as well as hosting a PADRECC Consortium site and MS Center of Excellence Spoke site. We are closely affiliated as well with several VA Research Centers of Excellence including the Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Center and the Advanced Platform Technology (APT) Center. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong background in clinical excellence with a commitment to education. Previous experience in teaching is highly recommended, as our inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics have residents working closely with attending Neurologists.
The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System provides an excellent compensation and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Faculty appointment, based on academic credentials, will be available through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Unrestricted licensure in any State and US citizenship is required.
