This position is located within the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. The incumbent provides professional consultation and psychotherapy for residential treatment programs and the acute psychiatric unit. The incumbent works individually or as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide recommendations or treatment plans concerning psychological assessment and intervention. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
